Vegetarian Protein Pizza Recipe

Let's be honest. As much as we all love pizza, it's not exactly what most would traditionally consider a “health food.” Various fats, piled high on a bed of carbs does not amount to a balanced meal.

But, what if you could swap out some of the carbs for protein? Give this protein pizza recipe a try to do just that. We're going to give you the basic ingredients for a plain cheese pizza. From there, feel free to toss on your favorite toppings.

Protein powder pizza topped with mozzarella and tomatoes on a wooden cutting board

  • 1/2 cup Liquid Egg Whites
  • 1/4 cup Naked Pea Protein Powder
  • 2 tsp Oat Flour
  • 1/2 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Mozzarella Cheese, shredded

Heat a lightly greased, non-stick pan over high heat. Combine the eggs whites, protein powder, flour and EVOO in a large mixing bowl. Pour the batter into your pan and brown each side.

Remove the crust from the heat and add your sauce, cheese and any other toppings of your choice. Brush the edges of the crust with EVOO and place your pizza under a low broil until the cheese is melted.

Remove the pizza and let it sit for a couple minutes, cut and enjoy!
