The bark has been used medicinally by Native American groups for hundreds of years as a treatment for constipation. It gives a gentle laxative effect and stimulates peristalsis improving overall digestion.
Directions for use:
As a dietary supplement, take 1 or 2 Solaray Cascara Sagrada capsules a day with meals or a glass of water. Children between the ages of 6 and 12 take no more than one capsule a day.
